Cabbage soup diet is a quick and simple way to lose weight. Basically, this is a very low calorie diet that still allows you to eat when feeling hungry. The Cabbage Soup Diet plan is very strict. You can eat as much cabbage soup as you like every day, plus additional foods on each day of the seven day diet. No alcohol is allowed and other drinks are limited to water, and unsweetened fruit juice, tea and coffee. Since the cabbage diet is deficient in protein, carbohydrate and essential fats it is not a solution for long term weight loss. It is a great way to drop a few pounds very quickly. Day Four: eat as many as eight bananas, skimmed milk and as much soup as you want.
Day Five: you may have 300-500g (10-20oz) beef (or chicken or fish) and a large tin or six fresh tomatoes. Try to drink 6-8 glasses of water and be sure to eat the soup at least once.
Day Six: eat 2-3 beef steaks with salad or fresh vegetables (no baked potato) and soup at least once.
Day Seven: brown rice, fresh vegetables and unsweetened fruit juice, eat as much as you like, plus soup at least once.
